African Prints Inspiration

Ever since I decided to embrace African prints I have never gone back. They  bring a whole vibrant look to a dull outfit  when added to a plain fabric – hues of black, grey and blue.  As long as you can find a good tailor, you can sew almost anything! Every style is Imaginable with the African fabric.  My wish is to have an African ensemble in my entire wardrobe  and who knows maybe extend that to my interior decor in my future home 🙂

The options with dresses are endless. I prefer A-line since it flatters my body type, and it also works for almost all shapes, so if you are thinking of owning an A – line Ankara dress and want to stand out be keen on the details  –  patterns and embroidery.

Some of the shots were done  last year and felt I should share these little pieces as a pre-review as I am planning to have a major review on Ankara fashion before the end of this year.

I just had to add this amazing jacket won by my friend Bianca… africanprintsinspiration1
