Popping Red Dress

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

By: Penina .A.

The first time I lay eyes on this popping red dress, I shrugged and swept my eyes elsewhere.  I didn’t get that wow feeling people talk about.  I thought it looked good but there was just something about it, you know what I’m saying? More like judging it before feeling the fabric or even looking at the label/brand and imagining someone if not self in it.  I thought it looked plain and loud.

So while browsing through the endless clothes that hang loosely on the hangers, I bumped into a similar one, though a size smaller.  And thought to myself, okay…let’s see what you got. I held it by the hands, and there it was.

Quality.

Calvin Klein.  Yes, Calvin Klein.

The dress is classy and very robust (durability assured here).  It feels good and smooth to the skin, flatters the figure owing to its mermaid shape.  It stretches when it has to so no worries when indulging in cheesy meals.

This Popping red Dress Can be worn in a formal and informal setting. You just need to accessorize it appropriately.

Nonetheless, the red dress surprised me and reminded me a key lesson.

There’s a reason why some wise woman/man said think twice before you talk, in our context, think twice before you judge.  Grand opportunities have flown past some because it didn’t look grand at the moment.  Before you shrug something off, think twice.  You never know.  Just because it not catchy doesn’t mean it lacks value.

That dress is actually pretty and the fabric looks super soft. I would not hesitate to buy it and I think it flatters almost every body type.
